WARRINGTON’S Golden Square Shopping Centre is running a series of events in August to help residents “get up and go.”
The first event is the “Drop a Dress Size Challenge”, which rewards the best slimmer with a £1,000 make over including beauty package, hair styling and new clothes from the mall.
Registration for the challenge is open tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday 2. Entry is free.
The Urban Playground is next to come to the town centre as a cool climbing wall and fully-equipped skate park will be set up.
Fully trained instructors will be on hand to give advice and help youngsters hone their skills on the playground, which will be in Warrington from August 16 to 23.
Weekly demonstrations will also be taking place in the shopping centre throughout the month, with the Village Hotels’ fitness team showing shoppers how to drop a dress size.
Tumble Tots will also be in the centre every Wednesday to provide parents with advice and guidance for children under seven.
