A COMMUNITY centre in Warrington will be showcasing the variety of activities it has to offer when they throw open their doors to the general public.
Grappenhall Community Centre will be hosting an open day that will feature around 20 of its users showcasing their skills and crafts.
Currently several businesses and other groups use the community centre on a daily basis.
The open day is a chance for people to attend and see what sort of activities go on there and may be even sign up to one of the areas of their particular interest.
Members of Warrington Borough Council, as well as representatives from music groups, radio groups, model railway groups and line dancing groups, will all be attending.
Event organiser Pauline McManus, said: “We want people to come along and see what we do here. The more people who use the centre, the more successful it will be.”
The open day takes place Sunday, August 24 from 1pm to 5pm.
Entry is free and weather permitting there will be a barbeque and refreshments.
