Zip into action plea

A WARRINGTON charity is calling on residents to zip into action and take part in their latest fundraising event.
The

Relationship Centre is asking people to take part in the Leeds Headingley Stadium Zip Slide in September as part of their dedicated fundraising efforts.
Participants will be able to hurtle across the stadium pitch at speeds of 30mph during the event being organised in partnership with Adventure Challenge Events.
Marketing manager from the centre, Marissa Hankinson, said: “Since April, we have supported over 1,000 clients who have been affected by unhealthy relationships through a variety of circumstances.
“It costs the charity on average £100.00 to provide this help. We provide a valuable service to the community and monies raised allow us to sustain these services and develop new programmes that will help those affected to go on and live better, healthier, more positive lifestyles.
“It takes real courage to do these kinds of events, but it is also character building and an exciting way to raise money for a good cause.”
The Relationship Centre is a charity, run by professionals from a wide range of caring disciplines, to help people build better lives for themselves.
Anyone requiring more information about the event should contact the Relationship Centre on 01925 246910 or visit www.healthyrelationships.org.uk
