YOUNGSTERS in Warrington are being given the chance to get active during the summer holidays and pick up some handy hints from skating professionals.
A series of skating, skate boarding and biking events have been organised by Cheshire Police, Cheshire Fire Service and Golden Gates Housing during August.
All ages and abilities are welcome, with prizes worth up to £600 being handed out by renowned skate park Rampworx.
Professionals will be on hand to coach and demonstrate their skills at the event, which will take place at Victoria Park.
Dates for the events are Tuesday, August 5, 12 and 19, as well as Wednesday, August 27.
