Blaze threatens gas cylinders

FIRE crews had to act swiftly to control a fire at Warrington premises that contained propane gas cylinders.
A vehicle fitting bay at a premises on Old Liverpool Road in Great Sankey was ablaze when crews arrived. Firefighters were able to keep flames away from the gas cylinders and eventually extinguished the blaze.
Crews from Warrington used a hose reel and a positive pressure ventilation fan during the operation.
