Time running out for junior anglers

TIME is running out for junior anglers in Warrington to sign up for a prestigious fishing competition.
Safer Warrington Partnership is running a junior angling tournament in Sankey Valley Park open to all 10-17 year-olds.
There will be three heats in the competition, the first on July 28, the second on August 1 and the final on August 8.
Participants will need to bring confirmation letters to the heat they are fishing in.
Arrival for entrants is 9 am with the competition taking place from 10.00am-3.00pm. The weigh-in will commence at 3.00pm.
Only barbless hooks should be used on the day, with parents of children taking part being welcome to attend.
There are a limited number of 60 spaces available, with entry being granted on a first come, first serve basis.
