Thugs rob pizza delivery man

POLICE at Warrington are hunting three thugs who robbed a pizza delivery man in the early hours of the morning.
The offenders – armed with a claw hammer, knife and piece of wood were all wearing scarves over their faces when they struck in Redpoll Lane, Birchwood.
They got away with a meal and cash worth £176.00.
Police say the delivery man received an order to deliver a meal to an address in Birchwood shortly before midnight on Thursday, July 17.
In fact, it was about 12.40am when he arrived at the house, only to find there was no answer.
As he was leaving he was confronted by the three masked men in Redpoll Lane. They demanded that he hand over the food and fearing for his safety he gave it to them.
One of the offenders was about 5ft 10 inches tall, of medium building and wearing a hooded jacket and jeans. Another was about 5ft 7 inches, of stocky building and wearing a jacket. The third man was about 5ft 9 inches tall, of med building and wearing a jacket with the hood up.
