Two charged with drugs offences

POLICE have arrested a man and a woman in Warrington for possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
Drug squad officers raided two properties in the Bewsey and Woolston areas of the town.
A 20-year-old man from the Liverpool area was arrested and later charged with possession of heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply.
The 42-year-old woman from Warrington was arrested and later charged with possession of heroin with intent to supply.
Police also discovered quantities of Class A drugs at both premises during the raids.
Residents are now being urged to contact their local officers with any information about drug use in their area.
Warrington West Community Action Team, who carried out one of the raids, can be contacted on 0845 458 6385.
The Warrington East Community Action Team, who executed the other, can be contacted on 0845 458 6390.
