OBJECTIONS to proposals for a car wash in Sandy Lane, Stockton Heath, have been made by the parish council.
The proposed facility would be between Bridgewater House and the Warrington Borough Council highway warehouse. The parish council had been consulted as tenants of the site.
Members were concerned the plan would mean a loss of parking spaces for people attending the Sandy Lane Centre and would mean “unacceptable” off-site parking in Sandy Lane.
The plan has already been considered by the parish’s planning, finance and general purposes Committee, who have agreed to raise further concerns when the formal planning application is received.
