Amazing technicolor birthday show

A DANCE and drama group is celebrating its fifth anniversary by reprising its first-ever production – Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
The Shooting Stars dance and drama group, based at St Margaret’s Community Centre, Latchford will stage the show again with a new cast of enthusiastic young performers.
When they staged the show five years ago – at Latchford – the cast, helpers and volunteers left little room for an audience!
This time the group has hired the Parr Hall and will put the show on twice on Saturday, August 2.
A matinee will take place at 3pm, followed by an evening performance at 7pm and the group is hoping to fill the venue for both performances. Tickets are available from the hotline 01925 241107 and are priced at £5 each or £18 for a family ticket of two adults and two under 16s.
A spokeswoman said: “The vision remains the same, to make dance, drama and stage performance accessible to anyone who wants to have a go.”
