NOTICE has been given of a casual vacancy for a councillor on the Penketh Parish Council, East Ward.
If nominations are received by noon on Friday, July 18, a by-election will take place on Thursday, August 14.
Nomination forms are available from the reception at the Warrington Town Hall.
In the event of their being no nominations, the Parish Council has the power to co-opt a member to fill the vacancy.
The last day for registration to vote at the election, if there is one, and to arrange a postal vote, is Wednesday July 30 at 5pm. The parish council has agreed that electors in the parish ward will not receive poll cards.
