Bank raiders had sawn-off shotgun

MORE details have emerged of a vicious bank raid which left two women staff badly shaken.
The raid was at the Lloyds-TSB bank in Pepper Street, Lymm at about 10.50am on Thursday and was first reported by Warrington-Worldwide later the same day.
Two men wearing balaclavas and dark clothing burst into the bank brandishing a sawn-off shotgun and a machete-style knife.
They grabbed a woman member of staff and forced another to open the safe before making off with a large amount of cash.
Police today revealed that the pair arrived and left in a black VW Golf car.
No-one was hurt during the raid but the two women were left badly shaken.
