THREE local people have received awards in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.
Professor Peter Raymond Noyce, who lives at Lymm has been awarded the CBE, Mrs Merron Mitchell, of Warrington has received the OBE and Mrs Anne Margaret Anderson, also of Warrington has been awarded the MBE.
Professor Noyce is Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Manchester and receives his award for services to health care.
Mrs Mitchell, director of offender learning at City College, Manchester receives her award for services to education and skills.
Mrs Anderson is pension centre manager with the Department for Work and Pensions, based at Stockport
