YOUNGSTERS in Warrington are being offered the chance see “dinosaurs after dark” by entering a competition to win a book currently only available in America.
Dinosaurs after dark is the name of a new children’s book that is on offer for whoever wins the Frankenstein’s Pet competition being run by local author and illustrator Curtis Jobling.
Both Curtis, who was born in Penketh, and fellow children’s author, Jonathan Emmett collaborated on the book that is currently only available in the States.
All primary school children have to do is create an imaginary pet through any medium to be Frankenstein’s pet.
Curtis, who created such hits as Bob the Builder, will be at Warrington Library on Saturday for a special book signing and literature talks between 11am and 1pm.
