Residents call for traffic calming

RESIDENTS in a Warrington village have issued a plea for traffic calming measures.
Brian Buckley told Stockton Heath Parish Council that there had been several accidents in Egerton Street, Stockton Heath, Warrington.
He said there were no traffic calming measures and no speed limit signs.
“The road is busy with traffic until the early hours of the morning coming out of the shopping centre car park,” he said.
Chair Coun Maurice Leslie suggested that the matter be discussed with the Police Community Support Officers at the July meeting.
