Swimmer wins special award

WARRINGTON swimming champion Aden Walker has been presented with a special award for his pool exploits at the Disabled Championships.
He was awarded a special endeavour trophy as he took the gold medal in the 25 metre back stroke, 25 metre breast stroke and silver in 50 metre free style at the championships held in Rugby.
Aden has been competing at the championships for a number of years and regularly raises money for Warrington charities through sponsored swims.
Next up for Aden are competitions in Hinckley, Blackpool, Birkenhead and Ireland.
This latest achievement adds to his already impressive collection of 251 medals and 34 trophies.
