IT’S true what they say…silence is golden, especially for a local charity who benefitted from a cheque
donated by two Grappenhall Heys Primary School pupils who raised money by being quiet.
Kate Shrewsbury-Gee and Olivia Seger-Evans, both aged nine, raised money through a sponsored silence for the Wood Green Animal Sanctuary.
In total the girls’ all-day long silence raised £73.25 for the charity, thanks to the generosity of family, friends and class-mates.
