Charity issues a lofty challenge

A WARRINGTON based charity is asking residents to pull on their hiking boots and take part in a Three-Peaks Challenge to raise money for one of their award-winning campaigns.
The Relationship Centre wants people to join staff at the challenge, which involves covering 27 kilometres in 12 hours over three peaks in Yorkshire.
All monies raised from the climb will be put towards their Talk…Don’t Walk campaign, which aims to stop youngsters running away from home.
Spokesperson for the centre, Marissa Hankinson said: “We provide a valuable service to the community and the wider area to young people who have run away from home, via our helpline and website.
“Just £5.00 can help cover the cost of a call with a specialist counsellor. A challenge such as the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes real courage and is character building whilst doing some good for others.”
Anyone interested in taking part in the challenge should contact the centre on 01925 246 910, or visiting www.healthyrelationships.org.uk
