WARRINGTON will host the first ever North West Fashion Week in celebration of the region’s fine style.

The newly refurbished Golden Square Shopping Centre will be the venue for catwalk shows, competitions, student fashions, retail offers and live music, in a bid to make fashion more accessible.

Chart topper Beverley Knight will be the main attraction at the closing party as she will perform alongside other renowned guests.

Marketing manager for the Golden Square Ian Cox said: “Hosting North West Fashion Week in Warrington nearly a year after the re-launch of Golden Square is testament to the dramatic development of fashion in the area. We know that our shoppers are very style conscious and will appreciate a week dedicated fashion-focused activities and we’re hoping it will become an annual event.”
