Car dealer commited to the disabled

A CAR dealership in Warrington has won an award for the second year running for its outstanding customer service and commitment in helping disabled people.

Polar Ford in Winwick Road is owned by Ford Retail which won Dealer Group of the Year at an awards ceremony held by Motability, the national car scheme for disabled motorists.

James Greenaway, the dealership’s Motability sales specialist, said: “We’re thrilled to have won this prestigious award again.

“It’s recognition of our Motability specialists’ dedication across sales and service who are committed to ensuring customers with disabilities get the best from the scheme to enable them to drive.”

The Motability scheme provides a new car complete with tax, insurance, RAC breakdown cover, and free replacement tyres to disabled people and their families. Anyone who receives the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement is eligible for a car on the scheme, whether they are a driver or a passenger.
