WALTON Lea Project will host the opening ceremony of their new WREN-funded Garden Room at their site off Chester Road in Higher Walton.
The facility is a stand-out wooden structure, equipped with kitchen, toilet and other facilities available for hire to local groups.
It will also be used to hold workshops, talks and visits by the project that provides employment for adults with learning difficulties in the adjacent walled gardens.
The opening will take place on Friday, April 18 and will be attended by local councillors, parish councillors and those who have helped to get the building sited at Walton Lea.
