WARRINGTON Town suffered last gasp heart break again in a thrilling clash with Colwyn Bay at Cantilever Park.
In contrast to an uneventful first half which remained goaless the second 45 minutes produced a five goal thriller.
Seeking revenge for their 7-1 mauling on New Year’s day Town soon found themselves 0-2 down in the second half as the “Seagulls” scored through Neil Black on 47 minutes and Chris Taylor on 52.
But battling Town showed their fighting spirit as they battled back with strikes from Thomas Lamb on 58 minutes and substitute Connor Taylor on 69 minutes.
The game then became an end to end thriller although the visitors laid seige to the Town goal in the closing stages, eventually breaking through in the 93rd minute with a goal by Paul Williams.
After the match manager Paul Moores, still seeking his first win at Cantilever Park, praised his team’s effort.
“If we hadn’t gone to sleep at the start of the second half we could have easily won this game.
“We still had some key players missing but you can see the improvement in the team and things will come right soon.”
