The brand-new Warrington Cycle Hub has officially opened its doors.

The new business is based on Crown Street, in one of the units underneath the railway in the arches.
Cheshire Cycles – who currently have another successful business in Appleton Thorn – have been granted the contract by the council to deliver the hub. Their knowledgeable team of staff will be able to offer professional support on all things cycling.
A special event on 15 June celebrated the completion of all the hard work to get the hub open. The Cycle Hub team was joined by council officers and the Mayor of Warrington, Cllr Steve Wright, who officially declared the hub open.

The cycle hub offers:
– Bikes for hire
– Secure cycle storage and showers
– Cycle maintenance courses
– Bike servicing
– Guided bike rides
– Special cycling events
– Sales of bikes and accessories

The project forms part of Warrington’s sustainable transport programme, which is delivering several projects aimed at transforming transport and active travel in the borough and making walking and cycling safer, easier and more accessible.
Mike Carlin, owner of Cheshire Cycles and Warrington Cycle Hub, said: “The support on our opening day was a real boost for us, having worked so hard over the past few months getting the space ready. The hub is now officially open and we’re looking forward to welcoming you very soon for all things cycling!”

Warrington Cycle Hub is providing a one stop-shop, in the heart of the town, for cycling enthusiasts as well as those looking to get into cycling. For more information on the hub, visit warringtoncyclehub.co.uk
